The REME Institution Beating Retreat Cocktail Party and Buffet Supper

The REME Institution Beating Retreat, Cocktail Party and Buffet Supper is held each year, usually on the third Thursday in June.  It is hosted at the Princess Marina Officers’ Mess, Lyneham, from 1830 to 2200 hrs.  A selection of cocktails and canapés is served before the Beating Retreat performance, followed by supper in the Officers’ Mess. Attendance is open to regular, reserve and retired officers who are members of the REME Institution and their guests. Each member may apply for two tickets (member plus one guest at £20 each) and may also apply for additional tickets , for personal guests at £25 each. If the event is oversubscribed, priority will be given to members of the Institution and their first guest. The dress is lounge suits or equivalent.

Tickets can be purchased via a link.  This link will be updated prior to each event.   The deadline for tickets is 1st June each year.

Accommodation. There is likely to be a limited number of rooms (for which there will be an additional charge) in the mess and there is no guarantee that we will be able to provide accommodation for all that request it. We will endeavour to confirm accommodation allocations by early June each year to allow time for those unable to obtain Mess accommodation to make alternative arrangements. Payment for accommodation and breakfast may be included in your mess bill for serving officers or should be settled prior to departure for retired officers.
