The Craftsman Magazine

The Craftsman Magazine

The Craftsman is the magazine of the Corps of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) and The REME Family.

The first REME magazine was published after the end of World War Two in January 1946. Since then it has flourished into a monthly publication know throughout the Corps family and beyond.

The Craftsman magazine is for the family and we welcome interesting articles, particularly accompanied by good quality photographs, from any serving or former member of the Corps, of any rank, who has a story to tell.

The magazine comprises a wide variety of current REME articles, news and information under the heading of Features, Operations and Exercises, Regulars and Sports to keep readers up to date. The ‘Regulars’ section includes REME Association news, a ‘Where Are You Now?’ column, Death Notices and Obituaries; publicity for forthcoming reunions and events is also included.
