About our branch
The Doncaster & District Branch supports South Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire and meet regularly at Scarborough Barracks in Doncaster, where we have a good relationship with the resident RLC Reserve Squadron.
The Branch holds a Summer BBQ and an Annual Dinner in support of four social evenings and a day trip to a place of military significance.
Welfare of our members, both past and present, including their close families, is of paramount importance to the Branch. Letters have been mailed to Lapsed Members, encouraging them to reconsider returning. The Branch Standard attends the funerals of Ex Corps personnel within our region and joins the Humberside & District Branch for the Annual St Eligius Service.
The Branch Standard has been paraded at: Corps Weekend; Corps Memorial Day at the NMA and the Corps 75th Anniversary at Lyneham.
