Ms Rachael Murphy BA(Hons)

Operations Manager

Rachael was born in December 1987 in the British Military Hospital, Munster Germany, her father served for 30 years in the Corps of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME). She has lived in Germany, the UK, Oman and Cyprus and moved as a military child with her family before she went to boarding school in 2001 to have a stable education.

Rachael graduated from the University of Leicester in 2009 with a second class degree in History and spent 2010 travelling Europe returning to Arborfield in 2011. After returning from Europe she spent a couple of years working in retail before she joined the civil service as an IHub Administrator in April 2013. She was promoted to Business Support Manager RHQ REME in February 2014 and assisted with the Home of Corps move to Lyneham. She has worked for the charity since 2016 and is the Secretary of all Charity meetings.  Rachael is also a Director of The REME Trading Company and enjoys all aspects of her job (most of the time!)

She enjoys travelling, reading, the sunshine and spending time with her Nephew and dog Stella.
