It’s October, and that means it’s time for the Lifting The Decks challenge.

If you wish to take part, choose four of the following REME 80th Anniversary-themed challenges:

• Run 80km

• Lift 80,000kg

• Row 80km

• Cycle 80km in one week

• Sleep eight hours, twice a week

• Read one book throughout 

• 80,000 steps during the month

• Tab 8 miles with 80lbs (36.3kg)

• Swim 80 lengths (25m pool) a week (2000m)

• Spend 8 hours on the Headspace app during October

• No alcohol for one month

 

Once you have decided on your challenges, follow this link and sign up. Successful participants will all receive a Lifting The Decks t-shirt!

If you are taking part as an individual – it is your own responsibility to conduct and complete the activities and the organisers trust you to complete these without having to submit evidence of completion.

If you are taking part as a unit  – seek the advice of your unit rep.
