The REME Institution
The REME Institution is ‘the Officers’ club’ of the Corps of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, it was established shortly after the end of the war with the main objects of providing means whereby those who served together in war might continue their friendships in peace. The aims of the REME Institution in the current day are to:
- encourage esprit-de-corps and comradeship between officers of the Corps both serving and retired;
- to provide services to member such as the provision of Corps publications;
- to publish an annual officers’ list.
Membership
All serving REME Officers are members of the REME Institution as long as they donate via the Day’s Pay Giving Scheme.
For retired members a £35 donation is requested. The donation is taken via direct debit or card payment once per year. If you are leaving service and want to continue your membership please follow this link.
