Fundraising

The ambitions and needs of the REME are growing and the REME Charity needs to keep up with growing demands. Our income streams have to be diverse to remain robust and over the past years, we have increased our fundraising income – with the help of some outstanding supporters.

If you want to help us raise funds and, even more importantly, spread the word, there are many ways in which you can do that:

The Day’s Pay Scheme – if you have not signed up to it, please do so. You can find the form here(link). One day’s pay per year will be deducted (before tax) from your salary over a whole 12 months period. (If you earn £20k, it will only amount to the price of one pint each month)!

Regular giving – not serving anymore? You can set up a regular donation here(link). Any amount is welcome and will make a difference. As the slogan goes: ‘every little helps’.

Legacy – remember us in your will! You can even determine what we should spend your money on. Over the past years, generous legacies have helped us to realise a number of projects.

Challenge events – whether you sign up to the Lifting the Decks 10k Challenge or set up your own event, our fundraising pages(link) make it easy for you to set up an event and share it amongst your friends to generate their sponsorship. (Our own pages on the Enthuse platform are much cheaper to us than JustGiving).

We are more than happy to support your event. Please contact us for banners, t-shirts and other materials to help you promote your event. Our comms team are always happy to spread the word on social media, so send us some pictures to bring your effort to life!
