The Corps of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) provides engineering support and is responsible for maintaining and repairing the Army’s equipment. They will be found wherever the Army is located at home or overseas. The diversity in the Army’s equipment will challenge the best engineers and our soldiers receive the best technical training giving them the confidence to tackle any engineering problem.
REME Connect is the webpage for all members of The REME Family to connect with each other and the Corps. Â
REME keeps the punch in the Army’s fist, and I know well that if that punch is allowed to falter, then even the bravery and tenacity of the British soldier will find it difficult to achieve victory in battle.
– Field Marshal the Viscount Montgomery
